BACK TO SCHOOL = LOWEST E-BIKE PRICES 🚨

(Revibikes Technical Support Instructions)

If your e-bike shows an error code or won’t power on, follow this structured guide. Perform the basic checks listed for each error, and share your findings with us. This will help us solve the issue as quickly as possible.

General Steps Before You Start:

  • Confirm your order number and bike model

  • Let us know how long you’ve used the bike

  • Check all main cable connections and battery terminals for looseness or corrosion

Error Code List & How to Troubleshoot:

Error 1 — Current Error / MOS Damaged

  • Cause: Controller current overload or MOSFET failure
    Steps:

  1. Confirm bike model and order details

  2. Replace the controller per instructions

  3. If replacing the controller doesn’t work, disconnect the motor and recheck the error

Error 2 — Throttle Error

  • Cause: Throttle, cable, or controller fault
    Steps:

  1. Confirm bike details

  2. Check for faulty throttle parts: replace throttle, check signal cable and controller

Error 3 — Motor No Phase Position

  • Cause: Controller cannot detect motor phase
    Steps:

  1. Check phase wiring

  2. Inspect for disconnected motor cable or controller malfunction

  3. Report the issue and test results to us

Error 4 — Hall Sensor Error

  • Cause: Damaged or disconnected motor Hall sensor
    Steps:

  1. Unplug and reconnect the motor cable

  2. Test Walking Mode (hold “–” button for 3 seconds)

  3. If motor runs in Walking Mode, replace controller and motor cable

  4. If Walking Mode still fails, it's likely the Hall chip—report this and we’ll advise return or replacement

Error 5 — Brake Error

  • Cause: One of the brake sensors is faulty or stuck
    Steps:

  1. Disconnect both brake cables, then test each side individually

  2. Adjust the brake cutoff screw (see manual image for “cutoff adjustment 1 & 2”)

  3. If the brake sensor keeps cutting power, adjust the sensor cable

  4. If brakes don’t release (always cutting off motor), the brake sensor wiring must be checked or replaced

Error 8 — Communication Controller Receiving Error

  • Check the 5-pin controller cable and connector pins for damage or misalignment

  • Try replacing the display, controller, or main wiring harness

  • If none resolve the issue, send us a video or picture of your test results

Error 9 — Communication Display Receiving Error

  • Disconnect the PAS sensor’s white wire and check if the error disappears

  • Test throttle and pedal sensor functions

  • Re-seat or replace the display cable

  • Check if the motor voltage changes when spinning the wheel; if not, send a video

Other Issues & Common Fixes

Battery Can’t Charge/Discharge

  • Test another charger or port

  • Send battery serial number and proof of purchase

  • We’ll assist with return, repair, or replacement depending on warranty status

Throttle Doesn’t Respond

  • Test Walking Mode

  • If Walking Mode works, replace the throttle

  • If not, replace the wire harness

Display Doesn’t Show Speed

  • Check magnet and speed sensor alignment

  • Make sure sensor cable is plugged into the controller correctly

Brake Noise / Rubbing

  • Check which side makes the noise

  • Use disc brake cleaner or acetone (not oil)

  • If disc is warped, replace the rotor

Short Battery Range

  • Confirm PAS level, terrain, rider weight, and temperature

  • Provide a riding log or description so we can compare against standard performance

Please Report These to Us:

  • Error codes from the display

  • What you’ve tested and the results

  • Riding condition (flat/hills, weather, etc.)

  • Order number and battery serial number

We’re here to make your e-bike experience smooth. Once we receive your detailed feedback, we’ll provide the fastest solution—whether that’s a part replacement, repair guide, or warranty service.
